So what was supposed to be about a seven mile hike outside of Beaune turned to be just a tad bit longer than expected. But we saw some beautiful scenery along the way and got to walk through several forested areas which were nice and cool on a fairly warm day (around 84 degrees).
After 10 miles we walked in to Pommard (which is a town we visited on our bike ride) and had lunch and then walked about three miles back to the apartment.
So 13 miles in total - much longer than expected.
Found a pub where we could find some lighter fare for dinner (meat and cheese platter) and then some glace at the apartment for dessert. It is 9:45 and we are headed into town to see how it looks after dark.
Yeah - I am now caught up. Tomorrow is another hike but hopefully much shorter. Until then au revoir.
