Monday Sep. 16 - Restock the Cupboards and the Colorado Provencal

So at 8:10 this morning Jim and Steve headed to Apt with the grocery list to restock the essentials.  And while they were gone Judy and Charlotte headed to the village to get the morning treats from the boulangerie.  Had a good healthy breakfast and drove to the Colorado Provencal, which is just a few miles from here.  Our friend Kevin had given us instructions about an extended hike outside of the "regular" routes so off we went.  We hiked about four hours and a total distance of just under seven miles.  The area is kinda like Bryce Canyon in Utah with hoodoos and multi-colored soils.

After the hike Charlotte and I had a very yummy triple chocolate ice cream bar (Judy had a sandwich and Jim had a Coke).  Came back to the house, took in the dry laundry from the outdoor clothes line and had an adult beverage along with a few snacks.  Dinner will be in tonight (chicken and vegetables) along with bread and wine of course (we are in France after all).

Tomorrow we head to Vaison-la-Romaine for their market (we stayed there two years ago) and then off to another hike in the Dentelles.

Au revoir!
