Started the day with some pastries from the local boulangerie. After a hearty "american-style" breakfast we walked into town and explored the moulins (wind-mills) and the old chateau.
We were able to find a well-marked trail just past the chateau so off we went. We headed north of the village and traversed through some woods and open areas. Along the way we discovered a few good views. At time the walking was difficult but we survived. In total it was about nine miles.
We finished the day with dinner at a restaurant in Bonnieux we had visited several times before during our last visit. It has a terrace where you can overlook the village and see the sunset.
Tomorrow is another hike.
