Saturday Sep., 7 - On to St. Saturnin

Today is our travel day to our next "home" for the next two weeks - St. Saturnin-les-Apt.  We stayed in this village two years ago and this year we are renting a house from the same couple we rented from last time.

The day started with a visit to the market in Beaune.  The sites were amazing and there was lots to choose from.  Jim and Judy really enjoyed it (even though it rained).

Cleaned up the apartment, got the car packed and we then drove the 267 miles from Beaune to St. Saturnin.  The weather started out quite wet but cleared about half way.  We stopped at the local Super U to stock up on a few items and arrived about 4:45.  We got settled in and then had dinner in town with the owners of the house at one of our favorite restaurants - L'Estrade.  It is run by two sisters and the food is outstanding.  I had duck breast and Charlotte had skate (along with a salad and dessert).  It was a great start to our time here.
